Friday November 22nd Itinerary

The day starts late at noon but you have the option of a walk around "The Gunwharf Quay" area where there's a lot happening and lots to see.

Getting to the Gunwharf Centre is easy too.

12.00 Harbour Boat Tour

We have to be on the boat at noon so leave time to get there.

The "Harbour Tour" boats location is shown on to map here.

Lunch and afternoon

The boats will drop you off at the quay at around 1.00pm, get lunch if you need it and then make your way to the Spinnaker Tower(location shown on the map). High Teas here are expensive but a cream tea is reasonable.

If you fancy an abseil, it's expensive but it can be done here.

Evening Dinner

We have booked the Tin Tin Chinese Restaurant and provisionally the Friday evening buffet at £33 pp.

Tin Tins is just around the corner from the hotel perhaps 2 minutes away.

Gunwharf Quay and The Spinnaker Tower.

Saturday November 23rd Itinerary

We meet at the entrance to the Historic Dockyard at 10.00am.

We must all be there as we have booked as a group.

We have tickets for 3 attractions and although it is suggested that we visit the "Mary Rose" museum in the morning and "The Victory" in the afternoon, if you want to see other sites, you are free to do so.

Note: Your ticket only lasts for the day.

10.00 am The Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - Mary Rose Museum.

Meet at the ticket office at around 9:45.

Visit the Mary Rose Museum (approx 2 hours).

The Victory

Grab lunch in the dockyard and then make your way to the Victory.

Your ticket allows you to visit another attraction so if you are still standing, choose one and visit it as you ticket is only valid for 1 day.

Back to the hotel for rest, refreshments and a "chinwag".

Evening Dinner

This is at "The Spice Island Inn". Its within walking distance for those who are still fit but we'll either drive down or get a taxi, for those who aren't (that's me these days.).
